Yesterday while cruising by my wonderful cousin Kara's blog http://elislids.blogspot.com/2009/04/take-lids-off-your-bottles-when-you.html she had a post about Earth Day and how if you don't take the lids off your plastic bottles first before recycling, they just throw them away. WHAT!!! So make sure before you recycle your water bottles to take the lid off. Then it will be recycled for sure! Thanks for that great info Kara!!
