My Baby DOES love me!!

So for those of you that have visited us during the summers you know how hot our house can get since we don't have air-condioning! So last summer, yes LAST summer, I went out and bought a ceiling fan. I asked AJ to put it up. His excuse was it was way too hot to go up to the attic to do it. So we suffered through the rest of the hot weather. Then during the winter his excuse was he couldn't do it because of our bedroom roof line. Urrrg! I'm never going to get my ceiling fan...
Low and behold, yesterday, I came home from work to find the room totally torn apart and AJ putting my fan up!! Yay! What a great surprise!! He figured out a way to do it!

I LOVE IT!!
Now here's a funny thing about it. There's a remote control for it. Most of you know we live across the street from my parents. Well they have a ceiling fan too in their room. Guess what!? Our remote works on their fan too!! They couldn't figure out why their lights and fan kept going on and off. It just kept turning on. HAHA!! Later they figured it out. As we were testing our remote and fan it was doing theirs as well. Hmm they better be nice to us or we will turn their light on in the middle of the night. Their remote doesn't work on ours...yet. Mike was going to put new batteries in his so then it'll probably work. Guess they could do a pay back... we better all have a truce..

Oh and later when I told AJ how much I liked it and that it was a great surprise he told me that he didn't do it sooner just to see if I was going to stick around. I told him I would have left this summer and not come back until the fall when it was cool again... he should have waited another month!! haha

Furball is scared out of her fur of the fan. She won't even come in the room.. poor kitty!

Now that he's a pro at ceiling fans we can put them in the kids' room too... And if we can only finish the floor in the hallway to the garage....
