The end of June nothing too much new happened. Kids were having fun with their babysitters and enjoying summer with all their friends. The very end of June, Auntie DeeDee, cousin Kymmie, Mark and Auntie Trina came to visit... What an awesome time. We took them down to Denver and showed them the capital and we all took pics of where it says that we are exactly one mile above sea level. Pretty cool.
July 4th was a blast!!! We had a big neighborhood BBQ. Thank goodness it stopped raining! The firework show was good as always and we were able to watch them from our street!
Surprise! Surprise! for AJ and the kids... Grandma Diane came out to visit!!!! It was almost a surprise, but everyone kept blowing it for AJ... Dionne and I just kept playing dumb. I know a hard task! ;) haha j/k At least the kids were really surprised!! I think Noah was on the verge of either stop breathing or crying.
Oh and in case you missed the wonderful news..... I had a surprise that weekend too!!! AJ proposed!!! YAY!!! I love that we have it moment by moment on film...

Well we all ran into the garage because it started to down pour... Dionne all week kept saying how she wanted to get a good picture of the 2 of us. So AJ decided to let her get a pic of us. He dragged me out into the rain to get under the popup. Why is he dragging me into the rain?? These won't be good pics.. Little did I know there was a different motive to that.... He grabed his pocket and went down on one knee... OMGosh!! Everyone yelled for joy! He had been waiting for the rain to stop and it just wasn't. As soon as he did it and I said yes, the rain stopped, the sun came out from behind the clouds and a rainbow appeared.. pretty! Everyone says rain is good luck... it was down pouring does that mean more luck?? There was a ball game going on in Denver and the Blue Angels were doing a fly by and they went right over us! Sun set and we watched all the fireworks! My favorite holiday!!

No date has been set yet. we are still waiting to find the most perfect venue and see what dates they have open. We are hoping for July of 2010... You all will know when we know. AJ, me, and the kids are so excited. Megan was upset that we have to wait til next summer...that's forever to her. She doesn't understand how hard/long it takes to plan... I think AJ is more excited than I am (hard to beat). He's so cute!! I love him!!

It was a GREAT time, my visit with the kids & everyone, but most of all AJ PROPOSED! I'm so happy to have you, Aly, as my daughter! (I know it won't be until next summer or so but you are my daughter!) Welcome to our crazy family. Thank you for being the women AJ's been dreaming of.
